If you aren't going to stop hacking because it negatively affects others, do it because you are negatively impacting your own experience when playing. You are grooming yourself to be someone who takes shortcuts in life, which probably won't lead to good things.You could get a virus if you're not careful.Sure, there is still incentive to get good items, but even if you get good items, you didn't deserve them and you didn't earn that item.Not live, walk around aimlessly relying on hacks that even worse, you didn't even write. Basically, a lot of beauty in the game comes from the fact that you die, reset, and rebuild characters.There's a reason why a lot of people with insanely good characters end up killing their characters. Plus, not being able to die makes the game boring. You are making the game less fun for yourself (even if you think it is fun, it is more fun when you aren't hacking).For example, abbysal armor used to be worth 1 life, and now, it is worth 1 def.By doing so, you're probably increasing the inflation of item prices because you are increasing the availability of good gear - if something is easy to get, it doesn't feel satisfying to get it.All you're doing is making the game worse for others because you can do more DPS and make better characters with less skill.When the game is more engaging, you find it more fun, so playing is more worthwhile.I haven't used a hacked client ever since.

You actually achieved something instead of just being able to download a hacked client. It makes it more fulfilling when you get good loot. But these things make the game more engaging.
